It's good to write a blog about what you're getting up to when travelling - for reminiscing on and remembering what you did, and at the same time giving other people a rare peak at a part of the planet they may know little about.

The world is shrinking thanks to airplanes and the internet – and so this is mirrored in the burgeoning number of blogs from backpacker-types all over the planet reporting from the country they are currently residing in.

From stories about novice monks in Thailand to the newest electronics of Tokyo, there seems to be no topic that isn’t written about by these hardy travellers.

Such blogs- often called “travelblogs” – are read by fellow travellers and those who have already been to the country they’re reporting from. Also, such blogs provide an inside view of the country for the people considering traveling in the future, so they serve a purpose as giving them a preview of what to anticipate if they do decide to journey there.

Now it’s common to find these travelblogs, and so it’s often not enough to simply provide some commentary on the nation you are presently residing in. Now there’s a clamour for blogs that pinpoint niches in the country they reside. For example, a travelblog regarding beach photos in Thailand, or perhaps a travelblog about the fishing in China.

The majority pen these blogs for fun, not profit, and a bit of attention, however there are writers who make a living from blogging. Be it money through adverts on their site, or maybe for freelancing for other blogs and being paid to do it as they are travelling. If you’re travelling in countries that have a very low cost of living, this can actually be sufficient to maintain all your expenses – though you should have a some savings and not soley rely on earning money from your blog.

Overall, it’s good to write a blog about what you’re getting up to when travelling – for reminiscing on and remembering what you did, and at the same time giving other people a rare peak at a part of the planet they may know little about.

It Verizon FiOS is an example of the better package for tv and web service. An inexpensive amount every month an entire system with DVR and high definition. There isn’t another satellite or cable company can say that.

It’s the truth that your home requires a receiver to get normal channels beyond cable but this is the deal with all companies. Also Verizon will get rid of the analog transmission of local channels on FiOS in a little while to follow laws.

In keeping with these new rulings all sets will need a digital receiver, either external, or a intermediary device or wire card. This is an additional element to remember. A lot of customers have for the most part canceled their separate phone and internet and picked one package with FiOS Television . If anybody is still hesitant about going with a new provider, you can always try out FiOS’ television for a month. They give new customers a money back guarantee.

If you phone your company to stop your service, they might, offer you a chance to stay with them. Cablevision tried to give my family one month free service to stay with them. But I canceled their service and chose FiOS because of honest reviews. I was mostly pleased with our previous company, but I enjoy FiOS totally, and it costs cheaper.

The dark circles under his eyes are evidence that he has been pecking away at the keyboard again. Night after night he sits, mesmerized by the computer screen surfing forum after forum filling the blank spaces with his comments and opinions about senseless issues, political debates, religious matters, business strategies and shopping options. All the while his marriage is deteriorating, his children are growing up and away, his business is wavering on the brink of bankruptcy, spiritual matters are being neglected, all to which he is oblivious.

One day he happens upon an internet forum about blogging. “What in the world is blogging?” he wonders.

Suddenly he becomes enthralled with a new mission. He has to get to the bottom of this. With all the time he has spent on the internet communicating with people throughout the world, he has never heard of blogging. He wants to learn everything there is to know about it…

Blogging is a relatively new phenomenon that is truly undefined due to the fact that it is not yet what it will become. Currently weblogs teeter on the edges of interactive journalism vs. personal archiving and information sharing. Different bloggers have varying purposes and goals. Some aim to record their thoughts, some to share resources and information and some to tell stories. Blogging has also been used as a tool for educating readers and for providing customer service and communications as well as serving as a tool for self-expression.

With Google’s introduction of the AdSense content-targeted advertising program, you can even generate some revenue from your blog as you get paid per click for Google Ads accessed from your blog. Don’t create a blog on the premise that you’re going to get rich from advertising payments or you may be sorely disappointed. Rather, view the ad program as an added bonus for the time spent filling your blog with useful content, or as getting paid a little for doing something you enjoy.

The best way to get started blogging is just to jump in and get your feet wet. Decide what you want to accomplish through your blog. Is it a tool for getting things off your chest? Sharing your thoughts and feelings? Providing information? Tracking events?

Reading through various blogs will provide you with some ideas for your blogs purpose and for developing your writing style.

Find a blogging medium that you are comfortable with. There are some options out there for free blogs and there are some paid services that are very reasonable, some for commercial and some for non-commercial use.

Probably the quickest and easiest way to start your own blog is to use a hosted service like Blogger – http://www.blogger.com. Getting started with Blogger is a three step process that you can take care of right now. You simply create an account, name your blog and choose a template and you’ll be ready to get started making blog entries. Once you get comfortable with the basic process of blogging, be sure to visit the “Help” section of the Blogger website to learn more about advanced uses and blogging options.
